اليونان تطلب الإنضمام الى المركز الدولي لتطوير سياسات الهجرة في لفتة مشجعة
عرب اليونان – صرحت وزارة الهجرة اليونانية في بيان صحفي لها يوم الثلاثاء أن اليونان قد تقدمت بطلب للانضمام إلى المركز الدولي لتطوير سياسات الهجرة (ICMPD).
وبحسب ما ورد في البيان ، عقد وزير الهجرة الحالي جيورجوس كوموتساكوس مؤتمرا هاتفيا تحدث فيه بشأن طلب اليونان مع رئيس المؤتمر الدولي للسكان والتنمية مايكل سبيندليجر ، نائب المستشار السابق ووزير الخارجية النمساوي ، الذي رحب بالمبادرة وقال إن مشاركة اليونان ستجلب “قيمة خاصة” إلى المنتدى ، حيث تقع الدولة في المسار الأكثر أهمية وتحديا لتدفقات الهجرة.
تضم المنظمة 17 دولة عضو وهي نشطة في أكثر من 90 دولة.
ينصب تركيزه على إدارة الهجرة ويساهم في تحسين تطوير سياسة الهجرة في جميع أنحاء العالم.
وتتلقى الأموال من الدول الأعضاء والمفوضية الأوروبية والأمم المتحدة (التي تتمتع بمركز مراقب للأمم المتحدة) وغيرها.
