مايكروسوفت تنضم لامازون في منع بيع تقنية تحديد الوجه للشرطة الامريكية

عرب اليونان – أعلنت الشركة الأمريكية الشهيرة مايكروسوفت عن منعها بيع تقنيات التعرف على الأوجه للشرطة الامريكية لحين إصدار قوانين وتشريعات تنظم تلك العملية.

وصرحت مايكروسوفت أن تلك التقنيات قد تستخدم بشكل سيء في عمليات التمييز العرقي وبكل سهولة وتأتي هذه الخطوة بعدما اتخذتها أيضا شركة امازون الامريكية.

 

وكان الاتحاد الأمريكي للحريات المدنية قد اتخذ مواقف مناهضة لاستخدام هذه التقنية من سنوات في مراقبة الناس بشكل موسع دون اشتباه مما يقيد الحريات العامة والشعور بالخصوصية.

 

وتأتي هذه المواقف في ظل ما تشهده الولايات المتحدة الامريكية من مظاهرات عنفة اندلعت في اعقاب قتل بعض افراد الشرطة الامريكية لمواطن امريكي من ذوي البشرة السمراء.
