رسالة من مهاجري جزيرة ليسبوس اليونانية إلى المفوضية الاوروبية: “حقوقنا اقل من حقوق الحيوان”

بمناسبة حلول عيد الميلاد، وجه ناشطون من المهاجرين المقيمين في مخيم كاراتيبي الجديد على جزيرة ليسبوس اليونانية، الذي أقيم لإيواء مهاجري مخيم موريا بعد الحريق الذي أتى عليه، رسالة إلى المفوضة الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين، يطالبون فيها بتحسين ظروفهم المعيشية. وجاء في الرسالة التي جاءت بتوقيع متطوعي مبادرتي “فريق موريا للتوعية بكورونا” و”خوذات موريا البيضاء” أن المهاجرين وطالبي اللجوء في ذلك المخيم ” لديهم من الحقوق ما يقل عن تلك المخصصة للحيوان في أوروبا”.

وجه مهاجرون في مخيم كاراتيبي الجديد، الذي أُسِس لإيواء مهاجري موريا بعد الحريق الذي أتى على مخيمهم، رسالة بمناسبة عيد الميلاد إلى رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين، أوضحوا فيها أنهم كطالبي اللجوء في أحد أكبر مخيمات اليونان، “لديهم حقوق أقل من تلك المخصصة للحيوان في أوروبا”.

وقال متطوعو “فريق موريا للتوعية بكورونا” وجماعة “خوذات موريا البيضاء” في رسالتهم المفتوحة لرئيسة المفوضية وللمواطنين الأوروبيين “من مخيم اللاجئين الجديد في ليسبوس نتمنى لكم ميلادا مجيدا. نأمل ان يكون باستطاعتكم الاحتفال على الرغم من المشقات التي نواجهها جميعا بسبب الجائحة”.

وجاء في رسالة الناشطين أنه على الرغم من تحسن الأمن، فإن “الوضع أسوأ إلى حد ما من عدة نواحي قبل الحريق الكبير”، مشيرين إلى عدم قدرتهم على تنظيم أنفسهم لتعليم الأطفال وتقديم نشاطات ترفيهية لهم.

وقالوا إنه وعلى الرغم من المساعدات التي تبلغ ملايين اليوروهات، لا يوجد ما يكفي من المياه الساخنة، فيما الإضاءة سيئة والرعاية الطبية غير كافية ولا وجود لأجهزة تدفئة.

وأضافوا أنه إذا ما أصاب أحد اللاجئين مرض ما، “ينتظرون ساعات لتلقي العلاج… وعلى الرغم من أن كميات الطعام كافية، إلا أنها ليست صحية”.
