تم الإعلان عن تدريب مشترك بين فرقاطة هيدرا وسفينة حربية اسرائيلية بعد إبحار الفرقاطة من ميناء أبو ظبي في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ، بالتعاون مع وحدات من القوات المسلحة للأصدقاء والحلفاء العاملة في شرق البحر المتوسط والشرق الأوسط.
وتضمن التدريب المشترك المتقدمة المناورات و عناصر الاتصال ، من ناحية الحفاظ على القدرة التشغيلية للوحدات المشاركة على مستوى عال، من ناحية أخرى إبراز عمليا الالتزام الراسخ من البلدين لتنفيذ ومواصلة رفع مستوى برنامج التعاون العسكري الثنائي .
