رسالة تهنئة حارة إلى جميع اليونانيين لإحياء ذكرى 200 عام من الثورة اليونانية ارسلها رئيس الولايات المتحدة ، جو بايدن ، في رسالة إلى رئيسة الجمهورية ، كاترينا ساكيلاروبولو .
وكتب بايدن في رسالته: “أشارك الشعب اليوناني وملايين الأمريكيين اليونانيين الفخورين في الاحتفال بهذه الذكرى السعيدة”.
وقال إن “اليونان حليف رئيسي في الناتو وصديق مقرب للولايات المتحدة ، حيث توفر الاستقرار وتساهم بنشاط في السلام والازدهار في شرق البحر المتوسط والبحر الأسود وغرب البلقان”.
ويشير إلى أنه يتطلع إلى مواصلة التقليد المجيد لزيادة تعزيز التعاون بين اليونان والولايات المتحدة ، وإعادة تأكيد التزامهما المشترك بالتحالف عبر الأطلسي وبجميع القيم المشتركة التي توحدهما.
