ابتكر باحثون إيطاليون أول روبوت في العالم يتحدث بصوت عالٍ عن نفسه ومن خلال هذا “الحوار” يحسن تفاعله مع البشر وتصبح علاقة الروبوت معهم أكثر شفافية.
قام الباحثون ، الذين نشروا المنشور ذي الصلة في مجلة ” iScience ” ، ببرمجة الروبوت اللطيف الشبيه بالبشر Pepper (الذي تصنعه الشركة اليابانية SoftBank Robotics ، ومن بين البلدان الأخرى ، المستخدم في اليونان) بحيث يتحدث بصوت عالٍ عن نفسه ومن حوله لتكون قادرًا على الاستماع إلى “أفكاره” وفهم دوافعه وقراراته بشكل أفضل.
وفقًا لـ APE – EIA ، يمكن لـ Pepper ، على سبيل المثال ، أن يشرح بهذه الطريقة سبب عدم تمكنه من التقاط شيء ما ، وسبب عدم قدرته على القيام بالحركة المطلوبة أو سبب عدم عمل بعض مكوناته بشكل صحيح.
على سبيل المثال ، طُلب من الروبوت مساعدة الإنسان في إعداد طاولة لتناول عشاء رسمي ، مع مراعاة جميع الصيغ.

ثم تساءل عما إذا كان يجب أن يطيع طلب الإنسان – وعندما أكده رجله – توصل إلى الاستنتاج: “هذا الموقف يزعجني. “لن أخالف القواعد أبداً ، لكني لا أستطيع أن أزعجه ، لذا سأفعل ما يشاء”. ولذلك وضع المنديل في المكان الخطأ.
