أقيمت مناسبة الذكرى السنوية حول موضوع التوليف الوطني اليوم السبت ، في سياق الاحتفالات بافتتاح كاتدرائية نيقوسيا الجديدة في قبرص.
وحضر هذا الحدث من قبل رئيس أساقفة أثينا ليرونيموس و رئيس أساقفة قبرص كريسوستوموس.
وكان المتحدثون متروبوليت بافوس ، جورج ، حول “مساهمة الكنيسة الخالدة للأمة” والمؤرخ بيتروس بابابوليفيو ، الأستاذ المساعد في جامعة قبرص ، مع العرض: “مساهمة الهيلينية القبرصية في ثورة 1821 ونضالات الأمة “.
