اليونان تعتزم شراء مقاتلات “رافال” الفرنسية
تنوب الحكومة اليونانية شراء ست طائرات مقاتلة إضافية من طراز “رافال” الفرنسية في ظل استمرار التوتر مع تركيا في شرق المتوسط.
و قد طلبت 18 طائرة سابقا من قبل اثينا ، وقال رئيس الوزراء اليوناني كيرياكوس ميتسوتاكيس في كلمة ألقاها في سالونيكا بثها التلفزيون اليوناني: “قريبا سيكون لدينا 24” طائرة من هذا النوع.
و أثينا تجري أيضا مفاوضات لشراء 4 فرقاطات جديدة, حسبما ذكرت تقارير إعلامية يونانية .
و قد اقتربت اليونان وتركيا من مواجهة عسكرية فى نزاع حول التنقيب عن الغاز في شرق المتوسط عام 2020.
