قبرص: تركيا تسعى للسيطرة على كامل الجزيرة
قال الرئيس القبرصي إن ضغط تركيا الجديد لدولتين منفصلتين تركية قبرصية ويونانية قبرصية في جزيرة قبرص المنقسمة عرقيا، يظهر رغبة تركيا في السيطرة على كامل الجزيرة.
وأضاف الرئيس القبرصي نيكوس أناستاسياديس خلال أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة اليوم: “عبثية الحجج التركية والقبرصية التركية بأن جهود توحيد قبرص كفيدرالية بما يتفق مع قرارات الأمم المتحدة، قد استنفدت”.
وقال: “سرد أن كل جهود التسوية فشلت وعلينا السعي لحلول خارج إطار عمل الأمم المتحدة، يعزز الفرضيات القائلة إن الهدف النهائي لتركيا ليس تسوية مشكلة انقسام الجزيرة، بل تحويل قبرص إلى محمية تابعة لها”.
وتابع: “لا أنوي الانخراط في لعبة تبادل اللوم لكن لا يمكنني تجاهل عبثية الخطاب التركي”.
وقال: “لا نزال ملتزمين باستئناف مفاوضات السلام التي وصلت لطريق مسدود منذ 2017 عندما انهارت آخر محاولة رئيسية للتوصل لاتفاق بين الدول “الضامنة” وهي اليونان وتركيا وبريطانيا”.
