اليونان: المصاب الأول بمتحور “أوميكرون” في البلاد كان مطعما
أفاد التلفزيون اليوناني بأن المواطن الذي أصيب بمتحور “أوميكرون” من فيروس كورونا في جنوب إفريقيا، سبق له وخضع للتطعيم الكامل ضد الفيروس.
وأكدت اليونان يوم الخميس أول إصابة بالمتحور الجديد من فيروس كورونا.
وذكر وزير الصحة اليوناني ثانوس بليفريس ومدير المنظمة الوطنية للصحة العامة ثيوكليس زاوتيس خلال مؤتمر صحفي لهما، أن المصاب قيد الحجر الصحي، ويعاني أعراضا خفيفة للمرض.
وأفاد تلفزيون ERT بأن المصاب هو رجل أعمال بالغ 60 عاما من العمر، وعاد إلى اليونان من جوهانسبرغ بجنوب إفريقيا وتم وضع أقربائه ومن كانوا على متن الرحلة الجوية معه قيد الحجر الصحي.
ووصل الرجل إلى جزيرة كريت اليونانية صباح الـ26 من نوفمبر قادما من جنوب إفريقيا عبر إحدى الدول الأوروبية.
وأظهر الاختبار السريع في المطار نتائج سلبية وفي اليوم التالي ظهرت عليه أعراض المرض وفي 29 نوفمبر تم تأكيد إصابته، حيث خضع لفحوصات إضافية للاشتباه بإصابته بمتحور “أوميكرون”، حيث ثبتت إصابته به.
ومن المتوقع الكشف عما إذا ما سجلت أعراض المرض على مخالطيه خلال 3 أو 4 أيام.
