أفادت جامعة جونز هوبكنز الأمريكية بارتفاع إجمالي عدد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا في العالم إلى أكثر من 277 مليون إصابة، وإجمالي الوفيات إلى أكثر من 5.3 مليون وفاة.
وبحسب بيانات الجامعة بلغ إجمالي الإصابات بفيروس كورونا في العالم 277.151.167، وإجمالي الوفيات 5.376.752 .
وتصدرت الولايات المتحدة قائمة الدول من حيث عدد الوفيات جراء الفيروس بـ812.069 حالة وفاة، وبلغ إجمالي الإصابات فيها 51.545.991.
تلتها البرازيل في المرتبة الثانية من حيث عدد الوفيات بـ618.091 حالة وفاة، وإجمالي الإصابات 22.222.928.
في المرتبة الثالثة تأتي الهند بإجمالي وفيات 478.325 وإجمالي إصابات 34.758.481
وفي المرتبة الرابعة المكسيك من حيث عدد الوفيات بـ298.161 وإجمالي إصابات 3.937.082.
وفي المرتبة الخامسة روسيا بإجمالي وفيات 294.322 وإجمالي إصابات 10.114.983.
وسادسا البيرو بإجمالي وفيات202.338 وإجمالي إصابات 2.267.715.
وفي المرتبة السابعة بريطانيا بإجمالي وفيات 148.038 وإجمالي إصابات 11.713.654.
وفي المرتبة الثامنة إندونيسيا بإجمالي وفيات 144.034 وإجمالي إصابات 4.261.072
وفي المرتبة التاسعة إيطاليا بإجمالي وفيات 136.077 وإجمالي إصابات 5.472.469.
تلتها في المرتبة العاشرة إيران بإجمالي وفيات131.211 وإجمالي إصابات 6.177.885.
