أفادت جامعة جونز هوبكنز الأمريكية بارتفاع إجمالي عدد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا في العالم إلى نحو 280 مليون إصابة، وإجمالي الوفيات إلى نحو 5.4 مليون وفاة.
وبحسب بيانات الجامعة بلغ إجمالي الإصابات بفيروس كورونا في العالم 279.941.644، وإجمالي الوفيات 5.399.891 .
وتصدرت الولايات المتحدة قائمة الدول من حيث عدد الوفيات جراء الفيروس بـ816.610 حالة وفاة، وبلغ إجمالي الإصابات فيها 52.280.510.
تلتها البرازيل في المرتبة الثانية من حيث عدد الوفيات بـ618.732 حالة وفاة، وإجمالي الإصابات 22.243.266.
في المرتبة الثالثة تأتي الهند بإجمالي وفيات 479.682 وإجمالي إصابات 34.786.802
وفي المرتبة الرابعة المكسيك من حيث عدد الوفيات بـ298.759 وإجمالي إصابات3.950.200.
وفي المرتبة الخامسة روسيا بإجمالي وفيات 298.165 وإجمالي إصابات 10.213.265.
وسادسا البيرو بإجمالي وفيات202.488 وإجمالي إصابات 2.278.807.
وفي المرتبة السابعة بريطانيا بإجمالي وفيات 148.324 وإجمالي إصابات 11.958.928.
وفي المرتبة الثامنة إندونيسيا بإجمالي وفيات 144.053 وإجمالي إصابات 4.261.667
وفي المرتبة التاسعة إيطاليا بإجمالي وفيات 136.611 وإجمالي إصابات 5.674.313.
تلتها في المرتبة العاشرة إيران بإجمالي وفيات 131.400 وإجمالي إصابات 6.184.762.
