حمل كريستيانو رونالدو لأول مرة منذ عودته لمانشستر يونايتد في الصيف الماضي، شارة قيادة “الشياطين الحمر” في مباراتهم ضد ولفرهامبتون أمس الاثنين، في المرحلة الـ21 من الدوري الإنجليزي.
وهذه هي المرة الأولى التي يحمل فيها رونالدو شارة قيادة مانشستر يونايتد منذ حقبته الأولى مع الفريق بين العامين 2003 و2008.
ويأتي حصول رونالدو على شارة القيادة في مباراة الأمس التي مني فيه اليونايتد بهزيمة مفاجئة بهدف دون رد، في ظل غياب القائد هاري ماغواير بداعي الإصابة.
وأوضح مدرب مانشستر يونايتد، الألماني رالف رانجنيك، سبب منحه شارة القيادة لرونالدو قائلا: “إنه اللاعب الأكثر خبرة، لأكون صادقا، كان الاختيار بين رونالدو و(الحارس) ديفيد دي خيا، لقد اخترت رونالدو لأنني أردت لاعبا ميدانيا مع شارة القيادة”.
