فرنسا تعلن عن بدء استخدام لقاح “نوفافاكس” في فبراير المقبل
قال وزير الصحة الفرنسي، أوليفييه فيران، إن لقاح “نوفافاكس” الجديد سيكون متاحا ابتداء من شهر فبراير المقبل، بعد الموافقة النهائية عليه من وكالة الصحة الفرنسية.
وأعطى الاتحاد الأوروبي مؤخرا الضوء الأخضر لاستعمال لقاح نوفافاكس الأمريكي المضاد لفيروس كورونا، الذي يعتمد على “تقنية تقليدية” أكثر من تلك التي تستخدمها اللقاحات الأخرى، ما قد يسمح وفقا للشركة الأمريكية المصنعة بتقليل الشكوك لدى الأشخاص غير المطعمين.
ورحبت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية، أورسولا فون دير لاين، بترخيص استخدام هذا اللقاح، متمنية أن يكون “تشجيعا قويا لغير الملقحين، ولمن لم يتلقوا الجرعة المعززة”.
وبذلك، أصبح لقاح الشركة الأمريكية هذا اللقاح الخامس المرخص في الاتحاد الأوروبي للوقاية من وباء كوفيد-19، بعد لقاحات فايزر/بايونتيك، وموديرنا، وأسترازينيكا، وجونسون آند جونسون.
